Denplan Care
Denplan Care is a really easy way to spread the cost of all of your routine treatment into affordable monthly payments, reducing the chance of receiving unexpected dental bills. This plan will cover your regular check-ups and hygiene visits with your dental team, as well as any restorative treatment you may need. As with all our plans, Denplan Care also includes worldwide dental injury and dental emergency (Denplan Supplementary Insurance).
Denplan Essentials
Denplan Essentials is an easy budgeting plan that covers you for the foundations of your dental care, helping to stop problems before they start. This plan covers you for your regular check-ups and may also include a scale and polish or hygienist appointment, depending on the dentist you choose. Your plan will also include worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover (Denplan Supplementary Insurance).
Denplan Hygiene
If you like to have your teeth cleaned regularly by a dental professional for a clean and natural smile, are quitting smoking, or have had a dental implant, Denplan Hygiene helps you to receive regular time with a dental professional and makes treatment more affordable with simple monthly payments.
Denplan Hygiene does not include worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover.
Denplan for Children
Denplan for Children helps to protect your children’s teeth with preventive and educational care encouraging a healthy smile for life. As with all our other plans, Denplan for Children also includes worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover (Denplan Supplementary Insurance) .
Denplan Membership
Denplan Membership is a simple monthly budgeting plan that guarantees you a place with your registered dentist. Dentists may also offer discounts on routine and restorative treatments as part of this plan, and worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover (Denplan Supplementary Insurance).
Denplan Emergency
Denplan Emergency cover offers you peace of mind in the event of a dental injury or dental emergency whether you’re at home in the UK or abroad.

Denplan Emergency cover is included in all our main payment plans as Denplan Supplementary Insurance, but can be taken out as a stand-alone cover where appropriate.

Denplan Emergency
There are three simple steps to changing your dentist
- Call your current dentist and ask them to complete a Patient Leaving Form for you. We recommend going to a final appointment with your current dentist, because if you have outstanding treatment when you visit your new dentist you will be charged privately to have this completed.
- Call us on 0800 401 402 once you’re ready to cancel the contract you hold with your current dentist. Alternatively you can email us. Your contract will end with your dentist on the last day of the month. We only need at least 21 days notice to cancel your contract, so if you contact us within a week of your last Denplan payment, you won’t need to make another payment until you've registered with your new Denplan provider.
- Call your new dentist and arrange your first appointment. Remember to tell them that you’re a Denplan patient, and ask if there is any initial assessment fee. You’ll need to complete an application form and sign a new contract with your dentist, and remember to take along your Patient Leaving Form from your previous dentist, if you have one.
We can send you a list of Denplan providers in your local area at your request; or you can search for a new dentist using our online Find a Dentist service.
If you’re rejoining onto a Denplan payment plan within six months of leaving there is no registration fee to pay.
